The Bangor City Council is currently working to gain support to replace the 47 year old Auditorium with a new facility. The cost of this project is estimated at $30 million. Although the current Auditorium is owned by the City of Bangor, its impact on the entire region is significant. The Council is exploring various funding options including regional, state and federal participation as well as public/private partnerships.
